Slot management for the 22-inch machine
1. log in to the backend.
Log in to the vending machine in the backend and then click on the Slot Management tile. An overview of your products will now open here - if already stored with product images and prices
2. click on the product for which you want to make changes.
Select the product for which you want to make changes. A page with various attributes and settings will open. Below you will find explanations of the individual settings:
- Slot Number: There are two small text fields here. In the text field on the left, you can enter the number of the slot in which the product is located. The right-hand text field can remain empty unless you have filled several adjacent slots with the same product -> for example, if you have filled product compartments (slots) 1-5 with chocolate bars, enter 1 in the left-hand text field and 5 in the right-hand text field.
- Product name: You can enter a name for the product here. For example: Milka chocolate bar.
- Price: You can enter the sales price for the product in the Price field.
- Stock quantity: The filling quantity of the product in your vending machine.
- Slot capacity: The maximum quantity of the product that fits in a slot.
- Product introduction: You can enter a short product description in this field.
- Product code: The product code of a product should be the same as in TCN Online Backend Management, otherwise problems may occur.
- Slot state: If the stock drops to 0, the status changes from "Have goods" to "Have no goods".
3 tricks to avoid having to adjust the stock.
You don't want to have to constantly update the stock at the vending machine after you have refilled a sold-out product? Then we have a trick for you. If you change the value in the Stock quantity and Slot capacity fields to 199 each, the stock will no longer adjust according to sales, but will remain unchanged.
4. change product image.
In Slot Management, you can also change the product image that is displayed to your customers. However, this is a little more extensive, which is why we have written an extra guide for you.
5. save changes.
After you have made changes or entered values in one or more of the fields described above, you must click on the Confirm button at the bottom of the page to save the changes.
