Fill and calibrate the coin changer.

Fill the coin changer.

Note: The display of the coin changer shows "Communication error" when the machine is open. If you press the switch that detects whether the machine is open or closed, this error message disappears.

Coin changer start screen.

After opening the machine, the coin changer displays the following information. The numbers represent the number of coins in the coin changer. In this case, there is one coin in the coin changer (indicated by the 1 in the first line). As the 1 is in the 3rd position of the first line, this means that the coins are €1 coins.

The logic behind the numbers:

A, B, C

D, E, F

The letters stand for the following coins:

  • A = 2€
  • B = 50 cents
  • C = 1€
  • D = 20 cents
  • E = 10 cents
  • F = 5 cents

1. press the yellow button.

Now press the button with the yellow border. "Fill up" should now appear on the display.

2. press Enter.

After "Fill up" appears on the display, press Enter. As in our example, 6 two-digit numbers should now be displayed (these may differ slightly in your case). Now insert at least 20 coins of each coin type. Proceed as follows:
  1. Insert at least 20 5 cent coins.
  2. Insert at least 20 10 cent coins.
  3. Insert at least 20 20-cent coins.
  4. Insert min. 20 50 cent coins.
  5. Insert min. 20 €1 coins.
  6. Min. 20 2€ coins.

The last number in the 2nd line (53) stands for the 5 cent caps (see the coin changer start screen paragraph). With every 5 cent coin you insert, the number decreases by 1. In our example, we would have to insert coins until there is a 33 in place of 53. The pattern or procedure is the same for the other coin types.

Empty the coin changer.

1. remove and empty the coin cassette.

Press the green "lever" downwards to remove the cassette to the front. The coins fall out of the cassette when you turn it upside down.

2. clear tube count.

After reinserting the cassette, press the manual button with the yellow border. "Clear Tube Count" should now appear in the display. Confirm the question "Are you sure" with Enter (F).

3. refill the coin changer.

Now you can follow the instructions above to refill the coin module.

Calibrate the coin changer.

The coin changer must be calibrated in the event that coins end up directly back in the change box or simply "fall through" the machine.

1. open the coin changer module.

You will find a small green clip at the top left of the coin changer. Carefully push this down and at the same time push the metal plate down. You can then open the coin changer module forwards.

2. coin changer module rear side.

The small light blue switch strip on the back of the coin changer module is required for calibration.

3. flip the switch with the number 7.

In the initial state, all switches are in the same position (see picture above). Now flip the switch with the number 7 in the other direction (see picture).

Then close the coin module again by pressing the metal plate down again and moving the coin change module to its original position. When you press the metal clip down, the module should snap back into place easily. If this is not the case, press the green clip down again.

4. Insert 3 coins of each coin type.

To do this, follow the first part of these instructions (filling the coin changer). In contrast to the instructions above, it is sufficient to insert 3 coins of each coin type.

Now open the coin changer module again and set switch 7 back to its original position -> All switches in the same position.

The coin changer is now recalibrated and should work again.
