Banknote acceptance limit: Set maximum bill size
FYI: Wenn nach Änderung dieser Einstellung immer noch 50 Euro-Scheine akzeptiert werden, muss der Geldscheinakzeptor mit einer anderen Firmware bespielt werden, bzw. kann man in seltenen Fällen mit dem Tool von ITL die Konfiguration abändern.
1. call up the "Payment Setting" item.
Log in by entering the password. The field for entering the password appears as soon as you open the machine door.
2. navigate to "Accept Limit".
3. set the maximum bill size.
In the "Max. credit" field, enter the maximum value of banknotes that the machine should accept. Select €5, €10, €20, €50 or €100, depending on the products you are offering in the machine.
It makes sense to only accept higher bills such as €50 or €100 if the machine contains products for correspondingly higher amounts. Finally, it must be ensured that the machine provides enough change. For example, if someone wants to pay for a €2 chocolate bar with a €50 bill, it could be problematic to keep enough change in the machine.
